For her Spring 2009 Bridal line, Reem Acra took an extremely creative approach. Here's what she has to say about the collection:
"Spring 2009 is a rush of passion and emotion that blends all past seasons to create a luxurious D'reem'land. I envisioned the evolution of a wedding dress 20 years after its walk down the aisle, with the models like little girls evoking a mischievous quality, playing dress up with their mother's wedding gowns. In this tongue in cheek tableau I want to encourage my friends to join in by photographing a time capsule of then and now."
To help with this mischievous look, Reem Acra used bright colors, prints and other products from StockinGirl. The result is something right out of Alice in Wonderland that we are proud to be a part of:
If you look closely you can see our hibiscus, plaid, and pastel puppies prints, as well as our opaque thigh highs. Brightly colored tights were also used.
