Tights, Leggings, Pantyhose - all could be found in abundance on the runways this past weekend. Here's just a taste, all images by Getty Images were taken from Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week.com, where you can see more photos as well as video of each collection.
My favorite by far was the collection from Rock & Republic, whose theme was Film Noir. Basic black pantyhose or stockings were used to accent most of the dresses, and this is a case where simple black goes a long way in adding to the Noir look of a Femme Fatale.

On the other end of the spectrum, I also loved Erin Fetherston's use of colorful tights with floral dresses. They really added a lot to the outfits and made me wish for warmer weather.

Ribbed tights were added to some bright outfits from Tracy Reese:

And, the last collection I'm going to mention today is from Sass & Bide who layered socks and leggings with fishnets for a rockin look that I'm tempted to try out.
