Spring Trend: Ballerina Inspired Fashions

The windows this week at Henri Bendel on 5th Avenue declared a major trend for Spring: Ballerina inspired fashions. The windows displayed beautiful lightweight and loose fitting chiffon and jersey dresses and skirts in pastel pink and gray hues, paired with ballerina flats and lace up pointe shoes. The diplay was embellished with roses and ribbons, declaring a very feminine turn in fashion.

To complete the ballerina look, the mannequins were were wearing legwear, of course! Stockingirl capri and ankle length leggings, microfiber tights, and leg warmers covered the legs to finish off the soft and flirty ensembles. Get the legwear look here!

I just posted something below about seemed dance tights. I usually get some great stuff at dance stores like capezio actually - not to mention their tights last forever and wear better (supplex). You can also get soles put onto real ballet flats.
